Recorded in Maioka Park, Yokohama, April 2 and 3, 2008. A pair of microphones was placed inside Seijiro Murayama's snare drum under various conditions: with the drumhead loosened, the rim removed, a heavy stone placed on the drum, the drum hanging from a tree branch, the drum skin cut with a knife, and so on. (The drum was not played.)

All odd tracks except 1 were selected by Seijiro Murayama from the 80 takes on the recording, and all even tracks except 60 were selected by Toshiya Tsunoda.
A 10-second gap was inserted before each track except 1.
Each track except 1 and 60 includes a 5Hz sine wave of differing length (maximum 20 seconds) following the recording (on the left for Tsunoda's selections and on the right for Murayama's).
